When I saw the notice, I immediately thought of you; I knew it would be tough for you. It was a tragic (to my eyes) situation, in which two honorable people simply could not find a place in which to be together. I have wondered, whenever I thought of it, what kind of trauma must have created such an aversion to confrontation in her...and how difficult that must have made her life, given that nobody gets through this vale without obstacles...and how difficult that her aversion made the lives of those who needed her to stay connected even in difficulty.
No answers, but sympathy for all who loved her and miss her, whatever the circumstances.

I grew up never seeing conflict among family. Never.
The adversion was a real issue in my first marriage. Less so now, as I am working on it, but it is still a problem.
