River and docs birthday party 18th March

So we got up early on sat morning and headed off up to the shops. We actually wrote a shopping list and wow, what a difference. I usually just get a trolley and stroll around all the aisle looking to see what I might need. But this time, just straight to the aisles where we needed stuff then out. Quickest shopping venture ive had where the trolley

Man that is one fun-looking birthday party! I wish I could have gone. I would have worn a funny hat, you'd better believe it!

God! My parties are lame in comparison. Are you going to be the party planning queen when you get home?

I especially love that River fell in his cake. That really made me laugh! I never allowed either of my girls to stick their hands in the cake like alot of mums do (You know, it's tradiional to have pics of bubby at their first birthday with a fist full of cake and a great whooping hole in the middle of the original product). I do have pictures with cake all over their faces though which isn't quite as satisfying as a picture of River with his arse on an iced Pooh Bear. :P

I've got to take some pic of the house. Might just wait until Andrew gets back with my dining table. I'll show you a pic of my current dining table sprawled broken on the front lawn. :|
