It's almost here. And things are really looking up for Obama. Here's hoping everything goes smoothly till November 4th. Some of my scattered thoughts below...

Alaska's largest newspaper, the Anchorage Daily News, just endorsed Obama. What on earth was McCain thinking when he chose Palin as his VP? Not to be harsh, but they've made her the sex symbol

Hm, have you tried contacting your county elections office? They should be able to tell you if you're registered...

Maybe they just haven't processed it yet? I'd keep checking on it over the next couple days.

California's blue through and through; might be a lot of loud voiced Republicans but not very unlikely that California will go to McCain, so I'll be standing in line after work, mostly to cast a symbolic vote in a historic election. Hope things go well in NY. My Republican friend keeps sending me silly claims about the Democratic party. Let's get this over with soon, so that a good deal of the sniping dies down.

Yup, I'm ready for all of this to be over. Let's just hope Democrats in red states don't feel like they don't have to vote b/c it always goes red... like my bro in TX 4 yrs ago. Those rules don't apply anymore.

i think the spread is pretty slim still despite what we hear. sadly.

i have to admit, i was never very enamoured with mccaine even back in 1999. I remember hearing him on the radio, and thinking, "this guy is a douche."
