Title: Melancholy
Characters: Alex & Timmy
Rating: SAFE
As the plane takes off from Peretola Airport, in Florence, Alex straightens up his back. The moment Timmy took his first step on that plane Alex ceased to exist for him and soon Tana will be back in his mind again. Alex knows that, but he refuses to let that bring him down. He can dye his hair blue to state just that, and get another piercing too. On his lips, perhaps, where Timmy spent all summer. Melancholy doesn't suit him, he thinks, checking his black short hair in a store window. He's more of a I-can-survive-without-you kinda of guy.

Title: Rainy Day
Characters: Leo and the Twins
Rating: SAFE
“Dad, I'm bored.”
In three long years of fatherhood, those are the words he came to fear the most. Learning how to sacrifice his own free time - alone or with Blaine - to take care of two small kids has been a piece of cake in comparison. Change diapers? No problem! Dealing with sudden puking all over your precious new limited edition of the Living Dead Chronicles t-shirt? Like a pro! But finding your twin toddlers something to do on a rainy day, that is the real struggle. That's why Leo started inventing stories: to call the sun back.
Day: October 3rd
Title: Reddish
Characters: Pete
Rating: SAFE
His planet has one traditional white moon and another that is soft pink. They are beautiful but they are an inconvenient number of celestial bodies when he would like to cross the Garden of Time undetected. Nobody must know he's back here to peer into his future. He's resigned to see his reflection again, the reddish hue of his hair blending into the second moon's glimmer. But this time the water mirror shows him a face that's not his own. That is, in fact, the only face in an infinite number of universes that he should not love. And yet.
Day: October 4th
Title: The Goddess
Characters: Leo and Adam
Rating: SAFE
It's a stunning celestial figure dominating a 6'x9' canvas they have nowhere to hang. From the easel, it rules over the paint-stained catastrophe that is their living room after every time Adam goes on a painting spree, that berserk state that brings him to throw himself into his creations, without any breaks for days. Adam lies on the couch, one arm over his eyes, an exhausted soldier after a long battle.
“She's beautiful,” Leo says, the goddess' long, red hair so precising recalling the model's.
“It's Athena."
And there's no clue in his eyes that he just painted Annie again.
Day: October 5th
Title: Summer has come and passed
Characters: Leo & Cody
Rating: SAFE
Summer has come and passed and Blaine hasn't come back from the war. His last letter arrived in the Fall and there have been a sad winter and a worried spring after that. Cody cries sometimes and Leo sings for him, his blue eyes saying, “It's alright, he'll be back”. But Cody has seen his hands tremble so hard that he can't hold a pen.
"You're allowed to cry,” Cody tells him today.
“I'm not.”
“Why? I do it all the time.”
“Because if I do, then he's really dead.”
Now Cody knows he must cry for both of them.
Day: October 6th
Title: Howling Wind
Characters: Leo & Blaine (Dragon!Verse)
Rating: SAFE
It is winter and the wind howls so hard that it sounds like there is a pack of wolves just outside the tent. Once again Leo regrets Blaine's unreasonable distrust of real houses.
“Worried about the wind?” Blaine mocks him.
“Are you not?”
“You will never be a good dragon hunter if you see discomfort everywhere instead of opportunities. Stronger the wind, fewer the dragons. They don't fly in this weather. Come on, get the fire running or warm me up some other way.”
Leo looks at the ashes: too much work. He slips under the blankets with him instead.
