Don't be discouraged. I know I have been many times by people who misinterpret my words or plainly disagree. You can be creative and I know you can write beautifully.

Its a small soap box, but I know that there are at least a few, even if they never say anything to you, that truly enjoy and relate to your writings. And even if its only for that few, I still think it'd be worth it.
