This series sounds really interesting. I've followed the AO3 links, and downloaded it.

I meant to read this in bursts, maybe a chapter here and then. Instead I stayed up all last night and read the entire thing. It's beautiful and heart-breaking.

Are you a novelist? You should be a novelist. This was one of the best stories I have ever read in all of my fandoms in over a decade of reading fanfiction. Just... amazing and...I don't even have words.

I just read The Ballad of the Invisible Boy over on AO3. I didn't want to read the sequel without reading part one first, even if it is stand alone, and I'm so glad I didn't decide to skip it. I can't believe I haven't come across it before, it's extraordinary. Now that I know how good this story is going to be, it's going to absolutely kill me that I won't be able to read it it one sitting, and I'm kicking myself that I have a heap of stuff to do that's going to tear me away from this after a few chapters. But if I have to read it a bit at a time, I'm going to savour it!
