Last month I decided to visit the downtown LA artwalk. It had been 6 months since Kim and I first went, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Either I just wandered more or things changed a bit. new ratty!
On saturday Bryan drove through the rain to Santa Monica for me and wandered around a park for a while so we could pick up a new ratty! She's a little older than Pookie was when I picked her up, but she seems to be much larger. I'm not sure if Pookie was a runt, this one is going to be big or just grew faster.

kale-y
Until recently I didn't really eat or think I enjoyed kale at all. At one point I tried to make some soup and it just tasted weird. I thought I remembered eating it growing up, but not enough to know how it was cooked or anything. Then I noticed Whole Foods had this hot and cold foodbar, and it was on sale on Wednesday ($5.99/lb). I like it because ( Read more... ) -

Amazon Parrots!!!
Yesterday while doing my earrands, I heard the tell-tale sign of amazon parrots - their voices! I followed the sound and ended up in a park in Burbank. There were probably about 30 birds there, but unfortunatly I didn't have my camera.
