I'm turning 30 tomorrow.

I've been jokingly dreading the day since I turned 25, teasing my friends as they've trickled out of their 20s.

I am not okay with this.  People say it's not a big deal, it's only a number, it's only 30, but I can't help but feel that the last traces of my youth are gone.

30 was the first birthday i felt, but i thought the worst was over

then i hit 31 and realized i was no longer 30, i was "in my thirties"

I was rather depressed about mine as well. Though I think it was more so that my husband was on business on the other side of the country and my best friend lives in Alabama. I could have gone out with other people but...

I wanted to be at least with ONE of them.
