What, dare I ask, were the two figures portrayed as doing?

And what does Chambers have against adverbs?

Ah, the figures are just kind of posing elegantly in space, but it was a nice artistic change after the confusing mess that was there the week before.

Ah, and Chambers... well he grades papers harshly. He highlights individual words and marks them as "unnecessary" ... rather subjectively at that. Specifically on one paper, he crossed out every single adverb in my paper and deemed them unworthy.

I can't say that what I've seen of your English-language prose exhibits inappropriate adverb use....

Each and every one, huh. That's just weird.

holy crap, i realize now why i can't to liberal artsy stuff - professors like chambers would just drive me crazy
