13 Griffin Way: Evening

Dec 06, 2008 23:18

The day had not started out as well as Linz had intended. In fact she still didn't really have an idea how to deal with this. Her dog was now a human and...

Nope. Still haven't found a way to cope.

So instead she has a beer a TV with some weird infomercial selling meat sandwiches. It wasn't coping but it almost seemed normal. That is until Martha put her head on Linz's lap.

"Okay. What do you think you're doing?" she asked.

Marth lifted her head up to look at Lindsay. "What?"

"Why are you... snuggling up to me?"

"What? We do this every night.

"Yes!" Linz exclaimed as she gestured to the couch. "When you were a dog. You're human now you don't snuggle up to me."

Martha let out a small whine and her eyes seemed to get very very big.

"No!" Linz said shaking her head. "No. Oh no. Don't start with the big eyes! I'm not going to budge on this. You don't-"

Martha pouted and whimpered.

Linz groaned and started to rub her own forehead. "Fine! Okay? Fine. But you don't get ear or belly scratching and you sleep in a different bed tonight. Okay?"

Marth smiled happily and put her head down on Lindsay's thigh and continued to watch the weird show about meat machines.
