The house was clean and Lindsay had set up the guest bedroom just in time for her to hear the knock at the door.

She opened up the door with a grin and smirked at her weekend houseguest.

"Have any problem getting here?"

"Nope!" Jill said with a grin as she gave her friend a hug. "Though I kept hoping for some bizarre thing to happen to me so I could tell Claire and Cindy you weren't insane."

Lindsay rolled her eyes and returned the hug. "Don't wish for it our you'll live to regret it."

Jill smirked. "C'mon. This place isn't that bad. It's got that quiet town charm you see only in places that have bed and breakfasts."

"Fine. Tomorrow when Martha becomes human you can sleep with her," Lindsay said crossing her arms.

At some point in the afternoon, Tyler came home. "Hey, Boxer," came his mild greeting as he went to the kitchen. "I'm cooking. You hungry?"

"Hey Durden," Lindsay said looking up from her position on the couch. "I thought we agreed you wouldn't cook," she teased.

"That was before you started leaving me phone messages offering to share your bed," Tyler pointed out with a slight grin. "I figured that might mean you trusted me with spaghetti."

Lindsay groaned. "You got that one too?" she said massaging her forehead. "It wasn't for you. It was for one of my friends back home who I invited to stay here for the weekend. You just missed her."

She shook her head. "And all right. I'm letting you make spaghetti."
