Speaking of fuzzy-headed, River began to roll over, casting her hair all over Rose's face without even realising she was there. She sighed, not aware of the elbow that was slowly beginning to dig into her side.
There's something about waking up in bed with someone and not remembering the going to bed with them that does wonders for fuzzy-headed...ness, and by the time River rolled (or flopped, as a groggy Rose ungraciously determined) over, she was already racing through possibilities in her head.
Interestingly, not one of which included blonde curls.

The idea of subtlety and stealth aside, Rose lasted one or two whole moments before spluttering and flailing in a very confused and unimpressive sort of way. But to be fair, it was very likely that or sneezing.
Rose's sudden movement stirred River, causing the older woman to give a noise of discontentment as she shifted away from the disturbance. She then opened her eyes and peered behind her, her chin touching her bare shoulder. "What are you doing, honey?" she asked sleepily.
...Well at least she recognized the curls now (was that actually a good thing?) but she...still couldn't remember anything about the...ending up there part.
"Just...trying t'figure that out. What are you doing?"
River slowly slumped onto her back, smiling when she saw Rose properly. She was a little more awake now and a glint had returned to her eye. "Not a lot at the moment," she replied, giving a content sort of sigh as she completed her roll until she was facing the other woman. "But I could be."
River arched an eyebrow at the question, sliding her hand out across Rose's abdomen as she got herself comfortable besides her. "You are joking?" she asked, not seeming to believe her.
She's not exactly...uncomfortable with the touching, though she couldn't say she was comfortable with it, either. "...No..." just, perhaps not as clear as she could have been. "I just--can't remember much of...gettin' here."
River slowly brought her hand to a stop, although it was still resting quite obviously on her stomach. "Hm," she then sounded slowly. "That'll be the alcohol," she remarked off-handedly, as though it was something endearing that others suffered and not her.
She didn't particularly mind it so much while her hand was still, at least. It was easier to concentrate that way. Not that concentrating was doing much good with the haze.
She squinted. "...The alcohol. Well, I remember celebrating, but...but...you're not havin' me on?"
River chuckled gently, laying her hand down on her pillow once more. "Of course not," she said, her fingertips then swirling gently over her skin. "But I could be," she then added, far more suggestively.
Rose thought she was taking the whole 'surprise wake up with an acquaintance' thing pretty well, all things considered. Especially the part where she'd never really needed to deal with it before. River seemed to be on a whole new level of taking it well.
"You don't sound nearly as surprised by this whole...thing."
"You really went to town on that alcohol, didn't you?" said River, pulling her head back and studying Rose with some amusement. "Because as I recall, you wanted it just as much."
