"You're the traceless killer." Eliot was amused to find the killer, finally caught, was a young man no older than himself. He wasn't surprised to hear the man had strange abilities of the mind though, just that they were able to capture him to begin with.

"You killed Chapman. Damien's quite sore about that." As a chuckling rumbled from his chest, he went closer to the telepath and grinned dangerously. "He'd hafta be if he handed ya to me."

IDK leverage at all, so give me the cliff notes on chapman and let me know if I get something wrong? templar_x December 4 2011, 02:43:34 UTC
He's very calm. Not smiling, and not even stoic. Serene. He nods, a hint of sadness in his eyes.

"Yes." He kills a lot of people. He doesn't say that, though. It implies he doesn't remember them but he does, he remembers every one.

That's okay. This is pretty AU'd from my normal Eliot anyway. distinctive_guy December 4 2011, 02:54:32 UTC
Eliot sniffed in the telepath's scent with an impressed arch of his brows. The man was not scared, not even when captured and locked from using his powers. At least, Eliot hoped those deadly powers were restricted, he was told by trusted associates that they were, and Moreau had paid a lot of money to ensure that was the case.

"You're not afraid?" He was only a foot away from the telepath now and standing probably closer than most people would be comfortable around a big man such as himself. "You should be."

[[OOC: Chapman cliff notes- Brunet, rugged with a beard, killer in a suit. Literally. Looks up to Eliot, one of the higher ups under Damien Moreau who is one of the top money launderers in the world. Enjoys killing kids too. Real bastard. XD Then again, in this dark AU, Eliot's worse than that.]]

Sweet, that works. templar_x December 4 2011, 03:03:49 UTC
He does smile at that. The blocks are deeply uncomfortable, the pounding silence where people ought to be, but it's nothing he hasn't borne before.

"Why should I be? You can only hurt my body."

He leaned in, close enough to intimidate most people, close enough for even a human to smell the earthy scent of woodlands and nature from his skin. "Who said I was gonna hurt your body?"

He smiled in an expression that came off as ferocious from how insincere it was. "You can't hear me, can ya? In that mind of yours. Just think. If we can do that, what else do we do to your powers? With your powers?"

"I admit, it is difficult feeling intimidated you all seem like so many paper dolls squawking and strutting about." Without his powers - they aren't people. He knows they are, but he can't feel them there, can't believe the reality of them.

"Little, I imagine. Mental powers are very much affairs of personal will. And I am confident in my will. Perhaps I'm wrong, but there isn't much I can do about that at the moment."

The telepath was... tough. Fortunately it impressed Eliot, but unfortunately those words were also seen as a direct challenge. "Is that so," he accepted mildly, stepping back out of the other's personal space only to suddenly turn around and grab Charles' shirt lapels hard enough to haul the man off his feet.

"That's where you're wrong." Damien Moreau paid a lot of money to ensure they had a way to control their own killer telepath. Eliot just had to weaken that will. "Oh, I have no intention of torturin' you. We need you in one piece."

He frowns slightly, sets his hands on Eliot's wrists, not out of any attempt to fight him, but to take some of the weight off the fabric digging into him. His arms are stronger than they look.

"Perhaps I am. It wouldn't be the first time I'm been controlled by a psychopath." But he didn't have the same level of power then, and it does...perturb him, the thought of what someone like Shaw might have done with his full strength -

A human's strength was nothing compared to a werewolf's but Eliot did lower the human a bit to let his toes brush against the stone ground. Leaning in at the same time as drawing close the telepath so he could see into the depths of those fearless eyes, Eliot raised his eyebrows.

Just like that, he released Charles from his grip.

Eliot crossed his arms and stared impassively at the telepath. "Strip."

He starts to do it, dispassionate and briskly efficient, fingers marching down his buttons as his eyes widen.

It's still not fear, more like an almost academic surprise. He's obeying without any conscious choice on his part - and he wonders, is this what it's like for the people he puppets?

Eliot saw the eyes widening and he smiled darkly. "I think you're gettin' it," he observed. He moved into Charles' space just so he could kick the discarded garments away. Getting the prisoner vulnerable was the first step to breaking their will.

"You're ours to control. So maybe your powers are yours, alright, but you can't use'em and we control the rest."
