Eliot could smell the emotions roiling off the human as he circled the dangerous man slowly. Everything translated itself through scents of hormones and excretions, and despite the wary calmness that Erik Lehnsherr demonstrated quite admirably, there were hidden feelings that he smelt that weren't displayed.

Coming to a stop in front of the mutant, the hitter stopped and looked into those green eyes directly. He let the other man see the confidence in his own. "Nice of Shaw to send his pet, but Moreau doesn't need extra help." He snorted out the other's smell and added in his own arrogant smirk.

Erik's eyes narrowed, staring down Moreau's hitter. Pet. His rage flared at that, despite the calm, nearly bored stare he regarded the other with. He could feel the loose pieces of metal in his pockets waiting for his command as he kept a careful eye on the pacing figure.

"The way I hear it, the only pet around here is you. I'm here to speak with Moreau, not his lackeys."

A low animalistic growl rumbled from the base of Eliot's throat and for a second strands of yellow weaved through his chilly blue gaze. His demeanor, like Erik's, remained tightly controlled. He started pacing around the mutant again, observing the powered human from every angle and at all sides.

"Damien gave you to me to deal with, so you'll be doin' as I say."

Throwing his mutt a bone. Erik grimaced inwardly at the comparison, though he was not yet aware of how accurate it truly was. He stopped trailing Erik with his eyes, feeling for a few small pieces of the metal in his pockets respond to him, waiting for his command. He did not like the way 'deal with' had sounded, especially coming from Eliot.

"I know about you," Eliot began again when Erik had wisely chosen to stay silent. "I know all about Shaw's group, down to every last one of his mutated buddies, and your name popped up several times on my radar." Stopping again in front of Erik now that he was satisfied with what he saw of the mutant, Eliot grinned. "I know your powers too, and trust me, controllin' metal ain't gonna help you much in my presence."
