[If there's one thing Ianto and Pepper had in common, it's that they're both work-aholics. And if there's one things work-aholics do (other than work), it's how to find the comfiest place to sleep for those late nights in the office. Ianto vanished a while ago and Pepper figured he probably left. Needless to say when she shuffled by, shoes in hand, to turn off all the lights, she was surprised to find him asleep and looking far too content to be roused.]
[Getting a sofa put in the office was in fact a very good call. Ianto had only meant to sit down for a few minutes, really. Take a break and then get back to work. Now, he's draped across it rather gracefully, sound asleep.]
[It's understandable. With as hard as he works, Pepper wasn't at all surprised to find him crashed out on the couch. It only served to remind her of how tired she was.]
[Well, there's plenty of room for another person should she decide to crash. Also, Ianto isn't snoring. He doesn't do that. Not usually, at any rate.]<\font>

[Ianto hasn't quite fallen asleep yet. He's lying there, eyes closed - trying to but the nervous anticapation from both stress at work and then... being a father soon is making it hard this night.]

*Mostly he remembers how delightful it felt to kill him slowly while Jack watched. Shame he isn't watching now. But that's alright.
*Hope you don't mind waking to a deranged alien about to open you up with a scalpel, Yan.*

So what, you often break into people's bedrooms in the middle of the night to find them?

She could do this forever, she thinks. Just look at him. Wonder what bits of him she'll be able to see in their child. ]
