[smiling a little at the tug, a little give of his jeans like that...] Yeah. We better. [his arm about him loosely, he just nudged him forward to walk] Back by tonight, huh? So where're you gonna take me, exactly?

*He just smiled up at the taller man.* You'll see. *he said taking another swig of his coffee.* This is so damn good. Just what I needed.

[as they settle down in their seats, he raises a brow] Gimme a clue here, Hunter.

*he gives him a look and sighs.* We're going to have a nice dinner in Soho, walk around Central Park and then see a Broadway show before flying home...

[and he gets the whole haul? Jase's brows raise] Wow. That's.. you gotta let me pay for some of it.

You're probably blowin' all the pay you just got, man. No. [he shook his head] I got dinner and the show, alright? No arguements.

*Hunter turned to glare at him.* The show tickets are already bought, and I can choose to spend my pay however I feel like it. Just because I don't earn as much as you, doesn't mean I can't afford to do this. *he said in a low tone, almost darkly.*

[he sighs. Not wanting a fight - though if that was what he were after...] Ain't about you bein' able to afford it or not. I know you can. Don't want you to. Not on me.

Why not? *he said turning to him.* Who else am I gonna spend my money on?

[he smiles despite himself. Such a kid] Yourself? [he nudges him slightly, leaning in] Hey... it's not that I don't appreciate it.

Then what is it? *he sighed.* I just wanted to do something nice for you, for us, this is for me too. I don't need you to take of me Jase. I'm not a kid, even though you call me that all the time by the way. I czn handle myself and my finances just fine. You do everything for me and I just wanna be able to pay you back and stuff so ya know, youdontresentmeorsomething. *he slurred the last part.*

[he frowns.. all of that just - pushing his buttons wrong. He took care of him because he wanted to, too. Not that Hunter got that. And anyway - he didn't do that much. Don't know why the kid was so --] Resent - who'd resent ya? I never said that, did I?
