Apparently today is National Hug Day (according to Twitter) so this needed to be done.
Put up a thread with your character, fandom, and any prefs (if applicable) and wait for someone to tag in with hugs!  
Then, go to other threads, either pick the number you want or go to random.org and let the RNG choose for you.

Oh! He was just about to recalibrate the demat circuit, but a hug from Rose is always welcome. Actually a hug from almost anyone is always welcome, but Rose especially so. "Mmph. You're right, the TARDIS is a bit chilly, isn't it?"

"She is a bit chilly, yeah. There something wrong with her, Doctor?" It figures that she'd think something was wrong with the TARDIS all because it was a bit chilly inside. Then again she can't remember a time when it was chilly within the big blue box.

Alright! Just about recovered from holidays, game hunting.

He frowns at the console a moment, though he's not yet let go of her. "...She might just have gotten her settings confused. Or jarred."

She leans into him a bit more, "Why don't you just ask her what's wrong."

"Could she be hiding something from us?" Its asked even as she closes her eyes keeping her Doctor close to her.

"No...not intentionally." Still she could be missing something...he still frowns, even as he smooths his hand over her hair.

[Sally couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the Doctor through the shop window.] Excuse me. [She ducks out of the shop in a sort of running skip, not giving the customer or Larry a chance to say anything.] Doctor! [And there she is, propelling herself toward him, giving him a big hug. A grateful and surprised hug. Didn't matter that four years had passed since she had last seen him. Didn't matter if he remembered or not--though she hoped he did.] It's really you....
