Dubcon meme
This meme is one big bastion of potential triggers, and this is your warning.Whether it gets awkward and painful or if it goes perfectly smooth, generally speaking the basic fundamentals of sex are the same: there are two (or more) attracted parties who both decide to act on that attraction. He'd driven Jase away, just like he always does to everyone in his life, and now he feels like shit. He wipes his eyes and hoists himself over the railing, sitting down precariously. He'll be able to watch Jase leave from up here, even if he feels like he may lose his balance if he doesn't stay focused. He's not sure he cares.]

The soft, almost butter-like quality over his bare skin felt good and he reached into his jeans for his keys as he stepped out, nodding at the guy who passed him.
They knew each other, and he was here for a hit. So Jase would have had to make himself scarce anyway.. but if he hadn't? Sam gave plenty of incentive. Kid was a mess.
Not his problem, he thought, opening the backseat and dumping his bag in, and the other, smaller carry-on. Heavy with cash.
He glanced up as he shut it, leaning to the driver's side. Seeing him there... and he paused, eyes sharp, stern as they met his. He wouldn't look away first -]
Not my problem. [he repeated slowly.. as if Sam could hear]

Then Jase looks up at him, and their eyes meet. Sam swallows, his eyes wet, and tears slip down his cheeks when he blinks. He knows how to lip read. Not my problem. It hurts, but it's true. Jase doesn't have to care, he's not his boyfriend or his family - not that his family cares either, and Sam's never had a boyfriend, so he doesn't know how that would go either ( ... )

She would do that - make sure to get the last word in, the last wave. Welcoming him home, wishing him well when he left.
But this goodbye.. it was nothing but a passing. So why did he feel like he had to do something. Like she would say to his don't cry about it Her response would always be so, make it right.
But this wasn't for him to do. It was Sam, his choices. He glanced back a moment, having looked away as he became lost in his thoughts, lips turning up just slightly in acknowledgement. He nodded, got into the car and drove. Not a look back.
But half an hour later, Sam would get a text:
not my problem 'cause it's yours. look me up when you get back sometime. bring coke, i deck you through my door - jase]

He's half asleep, still on the balcony floor, when his phone buzzes, and he reaches out groggily and finds a text from Jase. He takes a moment to struggle to sit up, leaning his back against the wall as he reads it. He takes a deep breath when he realizes it's not over, and it isn't a goodbye. It takes him almost twenty minutes to bring himself to send a text back.]

One hour later, he's stretching out his good arm, the other bound shoulder to elbow in bandages - fuckin' tip-offs!
He barely glances down, sees what he could well have guessed coming and smiled, tapping back a quick, short reply as he sat on the edge of the bed -
so what the hell you still doin' there?]
