rng gave me happy awakening, lolcaptoftardisFebruary 5 2012, 20:37:46 UTC
The Doctor had been nice this whole time, letting the Master sleep in in his bed. He actually looked nice like this; now that was scary. Without thinking, he started running his hands through his hair. He had to admit, he did kind of like the new look... And the curly hair.
"I know you're awake." The Doctor spoke softly, "Still hurting?" Pat, pat... Yup the hand was still ruffling through his hair. What? It was oddly quite soft.
An inconvenience, may a tiny bit, but in the end he took pity and bandaged him up and let him sleep it off for a while.
"Don't be so pitiful. You're the one who needs to learn you can't manipulate everyone." He pulled the covers down to look at his arm, the laceration there wasn't very pretty before the Doctor sewed it up. Glancing at the dressing, it looked like there was no more blood than post-sew.
His hands were cold, but the Master's skin just felt so warm to the touch. "You're not feverish, are you?" Ok, maybe the Doctor took pity on him, but he'd never admit it.
"I do hope you're a good teacher then", he sneers before the covers are pulled off him. The Master glares at the Doctor, a brief flash of irritation coming over his normally impassive face.
"I don't know. You're the Doctor, aren't you?" he says, his voice marinated in sarcasm, as he pulls the duvet back over him.
"Stop it! I think you do!" He nearly had to pin him to the bed to tug the sheets back down and placing his hands to his face.
"Tsh," He poked his cheek with his tongue in thought before slipping away, "I didn't think you would need an antibiotic... You did yourself in this time." He disappeared for a moment, and returned with a pill, but not before rolling his eyes.
"I'm sick", he says with feigned pain before coughing weakly. The Master was never one to show weakness to his enemies, but it was always so fun to mess with the Doctor.
"You're rightly pitiful is what you are." He eyes him almost warily, wondering how truthful he was being at this moment. "For what it's worth, you were the one to carelessly walk off and get hurt."
The Doctor handed the pill. "Take it, you're probably developing an infection."
The Doctor frowns again and pinched the Master's wound on the arm. "Quit being difficult. I didn't have to take care of you, you know. Could've left you there..."

"Have I ever mentioned you're insufferable?" The Doctor sighed and flops next to him, nudging his bedmate, "Move over, you don't need to be in the center of the bed. I know I'm skinny, but I'd like some room."

"Yeah, but I barely have any room! You have a good meter over there." So that was a little of an exaggeration, but it got the point across.
"If you don't move, I may have to cuddle up to you. Oh, that would be a blow to your ego, wouldn't it? 'Oh my insufferable childhood mate is invading my personal space! How embarrassing and awkward!'" The Doctor always liked to mock the Master in a voice that was nowhere near his own. "Don't make me move you..."

Forgive him please.
And please forgive and forget the soft sigh of pleasure that comes from his mouth from the Doctor threading his hands through his ginger locks.

He grunts when the Doctor pokes him and tries to move him over. "But the center of the bed is the most comfortable, I say."
