DESCRIBE YOURSELF: Well, to start I'm a petite lady with green eyes and short, curly blonde hair. I dress simply, though I often wear a lot of blues and greens because I think they bring out the color of my eyes.

I am a teacher, and I enjoy my job very much. I read ... quite a bit. I have a very curious mind, you see, I like to learn and ask questions. My job is important to me, but often all I want to do is curl up at home with my dog and a cup of tea. Then there are other days when I think I'd like something more exciting.
LOOKING FOR: Men, for dating, and anyone for friends.
WHAT YOU LOOK FOR IN A FRIEND/PARTNER: As for friends, I would like to meet anyone! Hopefully someone who appreciates books and quiet nights.

As for men, I'm never sure what to say. I'd just like someone who wants good conversation, someone sweet, who likes what they do when they go to work in the morning. I'm certainly not a woman of high maintenance!

Is there anything in particular that you like to read? I tend to find and sell some interesting books at my shop. Some first editions, too.

The classics! Though, I've always, always had a soft spot for those swashbuckling adventures.

Another petite lady who loves to read here! You sound lovely, and I have a feeling we would get along quite well.

If you could see me, I'm blushing! I'm always happy to meet fellow bookworms.

Fellow bookworm, as well as a librarian, so say no more! My name is Rose, by the way. It's lovely to meet you.

Hello, Rose! It's a pleasure. I often think librarians and teachers are two sides of the same coin. I'm Mary, by the by.

I often team up with a teacher at my town's elementary school in organizing educational and creative events for the kids, so I truly could not agree more. It's a powerful combination!

Oh, that's just brilliant! I do about the same, though I teach teenage girls and not children.

Yes, I have a Golden Retriever.

Oh, those dogs are so gorgeous. Unfortunately, I've no room for a large dog in my little flat.

He's a good looking handful, and lives on a farm out in the country. Definitely not a small apartment dog.
