[Alaric has no idea how this happen, or where mall security is. He looks out onto the entertainment center of the mall, a small smile tugging at his lips.] We could ice skate, or maybe play paintball.
[Mary, too, glances over to the entertainment center, where the lights are still flashing, all sorts of beeps and buzzes coming from out the door.] How does one play paintball, I have to ask?
You get a gun with paint cartridges in it, and you run around a field and shoot people with the paint. [And it was really messy, and he decided he didn't want to get paint all over the place. So, he gave her a smile and held out his hand for her to take.]
Let's ice skate. You may have to hold me up since it's been years since I've done it.
[He grabs a pair of sevens and a pair of eights for her so she can decide which one fits her better. Once he puts them on the counter for her, he turns to grab a pair for himself.]

[She takes the skates and sits on the bench across from the counter. Soon, Mary finds that the eights suit her better and returns the sevens.] Ready?

[He finds a pair of skates for himself and puts them on. He then starts toward the rink and almost trips oover his feet.]
I'm not even skating yet, and I've almost fell over already.

Well, it's just like riding a bike! It will come to you eventually.

[He's a little embarrassed, but gives her a smile nonetheless. Alaric then gingerly steps onto the ice, and slips a little before catching himself.]
