[They were laying on Daken's ridiculously oversized California king-sized mattress after a late-afternoon roll in the hay. Sunlight filtered through the floor to ceiling windows as it started to sink below the Santa Monica mountains. Contentment wasn't a sensation the mutant was used to but this....surely there was no other word for the feeling curling through him.]
