[As old as he is, and with as much as he's traveled? Yeah, it's likely he's come across Asgard before. It's just not likely he's come by very often: too many politics.

Still, once he peeks out the door of the TARDIS and spots the grand Asgardian architecture again, his curious expression fades into an enthusiastic grin.] Aw, brilliant! Asgard! Oh, it's been ages! [Yes. He's talking to Asgard itself. Rhetorically, probably, though at some point he should really bring a companion along to see this place, if only to rattle on about trivia about it. He really should.]

[He steps out of the TARDIS and holds out a hand with an entirely too enthusiastic grin.] Oh, sorry! I'm the Doctor, traveler not a tourist. Well--sometimes tourist, but I never end up catching the tours...[He squints off into space a moment. Has he ever caught the tours without something horrible happening before halfway through? Is there a pattern involved in that which he should investigate?] Anyway! This is Asgard, isn't it? No need for the tour, I've been here before...ohh...[He draws in a breath a moment, doing a few calculations and then...giving up. Whew. It was a few lives ago, that's all that counts.] a long, long time ago. [Should it not already be taken, his hand will be held out this entire time. What is awkwardness? He is no longer aware of that answer.]

[disarmed by his enthusiasm for a moment, Thor's eyes narrowed slightly as the man - seemingly mortal in appearance - spoke in such an animated, too-fast manner. He noted the raised hand but hesitated in shaking it until the speech had ended amid the ringing of his ears.
