[ She hadn't seen Thor since Mexico, and now here she was with a shiny new SHIELD job; arriving a week ahead of schedule to make sure Jane's affairs were in order.

There was also the additional bonus that she might see the big guy sure. But it was hard to get your hopes up when within seconds of stepping in, she was herded in to Fury's office to sign a mountain of disclaimer forms.

She's pretty sure she may have just sold her body to the government, and told them that if she gets kidnapped she's legally obligated to request a bonus.

When she finally signed all the forms she practically ran out. They really weren't lying when people said Fury was terrifying.
