Near, far, whereever you are--♫

[Yeah, so, someone's curse? Balthazar doesn't find it funny. Not even a little. He'd blame Atropos if he thought the blond bint had the teeniest grasp on things like 'humor' or 'irony'.]

I couldn't resist! And I love you for doing this. 3rdwinchester March 26 2012, 23:14:28 UTC
I believe that the heart does go on. [He's totally mocking you. Or maybe he's be hit with the same stupid curse that makes you have to sing that song.]

Balthazar hates me for doing this, roflrofl. His misery is my amusement. <3 beyourjudas March 26 2012, 23:28:33 UTC
[Balthazar is totally opting for mocking, and so he shoots Adam a definite glare. His misery isn't funny. He sings along with the line that Adam quoted and then moves onto the next.]

Once more, you open the door--

[Really, only redeeming fact here? As an angel he does have a surprisingly beautiful singing voice.]

oh but it's so funny. 3rdwinchester March 26 2012, 23:35:41 UTC
[Adam continues to mock him by singing the next line.] And you're here in my heart...

[He's having way too much fun with this.]

So true. xD I think you're pretty awesome for playing Adam, just for the record. :D beyourjudas March 27 2012, 00:58:05 UTC
[Balthazar shoots Adam a look that seems to imply torture of a musical variety. Like the My Little Pony theme song. He will figure out this curse and find a way to make the Winchester sing something truly horrific. This isn't funny.

The fact that his wordless promises of retribution are somewhat ruined by making soulful eyes, and the way he has one hand clasped over his heart? Yeah, not making this any better for him.]

My heart will, go on and on...

Aww thanks. I just kind of started playing him again, actually. 3rdwinchester March 27 2012, 01:04:53 UTC
[Adam's not even scared. He's just having too much fun making fun of you to fear you. Of course the fear may come later. After he makes Adam sing something awful and embarrassing, something he'd never hear the end of if Dean ever heard it.

Come to think of it, Dean would probably never let him live this down either. Oh well he's having his fun.]

Love can touch us one time...

And last for, a lifetime--

[Somehow, Balthazar imagines that Adam would get a free pass if Dean was informed he was doing it to mock the cursed angel. It wasn't as if he and Adam's older brother had ever gotten along well.

If not for the fact that this kind of magical torture far outstrips the brains the Winchesters have to offer between the three of them, he'd be contemplating reaching for his angelblade. Instead he's alternating between envisioning the torture he'll visit upon whomever's responsible, and debating on which particularly awful song he'll make him sing... Brittney Spears?]

And never let go till we're gone...

[You're right. Adam probably could get away with it if he told Dean why he was singing love songs to the angel.

Britney Spears? Nah try for something worse. Something more embarrassing. Like maybe Justin Beiber. That would be so much more embarrassing than Britney.]

Oops. Despite what the Movie Constatine might have implied, Balthazar isn't a demon. >.> beyourjudas March 27 2012, 01:38:06 UTC
Love was when I loved you--

[Maybe he'll settle for something like Shania Twain's "Man, I Feel Like A Woman", and make sure your brothers are around. And maybe Bobby, just for good measure. Or "Barbie Girl" by Aqua?

Vengeance, Adam, it is going to be his.]

lol Crowley's awesome though too. 3rdwinchester March 27 2012, 01:44:14 UTC
One true time I hold to...

[Adam's really getting into it now. Which is probably just going to make things worse for him later.

Though that Shania Twain song would definitely be embarrassing. Especially if his brothers were around. Dean would definitely never let him hear the end of that.]

He is. I love Crowley ridiculous much. Though, I much prefer him s5-ish. ^^ beyourjudas March 27 2012, 02:22:03 UTC
In my life, we'll always go on--

[Balthazar was currently debating the virtues of having Adam sing about men's shirts, short skirts versus you can do my hair, undress me anywhere... Then there was that one song about lip gloss and lollipops. Oh, the options.

His upcoming revenge was really the only thing making this anywhere tolerable. And, of course, it wasn't as if he planned on being at all forthcoming when he puzzled out the solution.]

he was good in that season. 3rdwinchester March 27 2012, 02:37:37 UTC
Near, far, wherever you are...

[The second option would definitely horrify both Sam and Dean. Though if he was forced to sing Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl and had to change girl to guy he'd definitely have some explaining to do after that performance.]

So much easier to molest the Winchesters when he hasn't tried to kill them. I mean, what? Lol. beyourjudas March 27 2012, 02:55:48 UTC
I believe that the heart does go on--

[Balthazar had actually been musing over that. Along with things like Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus, N*Sync, Backstreet Boys and other travesties. Hansen? The Jonas Brothers? There were so many songs he was certain would be beyond mortifying for Adam to be joyfully serenading his brothers with.

The fact that it might traumatize Dean for life? An added bonus.]

Reply

oh yes. lol 3rdwinchester March 27 2012, 03:04:58 UTC
Once more you open the door...

[Of course he had thought of that. Adam wouldn't be surprised if he chose a song just to horrify both he and Dean. He figured that would be the one to do it. Or some other song where Adam would be forced to sing about an undying love he really didn't have for his brother. Maybe Mariah Carey or even the right Taylor Swift song would accomplish just that.]

And you're here in my heart--

[Balthazar was actually starting to ponder if there was a song that could make it sound like Adam was confessing some sort of torrid love / jealousy that could maybe be pinned on Sam. The more embarrassment and mental scarring, the better. Because, seriously?

Dueting this horrible excuse of a song with Adam's mocking voice as accompaniment was just not okay.]

And my heart will go on and on...

[Adam was sure Balthazar could find some way to blame it on Sam. Really, any song that made it seem like Adam was confessing any kind of unrequited love would be embarrassing and definitely would leave a mental scar on everyone's brain.

What? You don't like his voice? Again with the mocking.]
