How long? [He asks again. He shudders slightly at the feel of the touch on the skin of his face. He doesn't often let anyone touch him there.]

Keith's face is uncharacteristically grave, his expression intense, in a way Yuri has never seen before, not on him. Much of the strength has gone out of Yuri himself, and Keith's seems greater.] Where will you take me? [He doesn't consider it a foregone conclusion in spite of Keith's words--he won't give up yet--but he's curious.]
I won't leave you-- not even after we leave this place. I'll take you somewhere you can rest. Somewhere safe. Then, when you're ready, you can think about other things.

I think you've been here a few days (maybe a year and a day, as the stories have it). It's all right now though. I don't think you're injured, it's like you just-- woke up. I'm glad.
