The little girl was done waiting. She normally knew better than to talk to a stranger, but something told her this man was no completely unknown. And she was lost; who else could help her find her mommy and daddy?
Clearly not him, he didn't know how to speak or something.
Robin was ready to go back on her tiny feet to look for her way home. But two things got her attention. First, the fact that there's lots of lights and funny things in this place, including a tv with weird doodles on it. And second, the fact that the man knows her name.
"Yes?" She turns towards him, frowning in confusion.
Close your mouth, Doctor, you could catch flies in that thing.
"Erm, right...a bit silly looking, yeah?" Oh TARDIS, what were you doing now? Randomly picking people from random points in their time lines? And for good measure, he took a mallot to the console to see if that'd prove a point. Spoilers, it didn't.
He had to fix this, he was too early in her time line, he couldn't create a paradox! "Where were you last?"
Perhaps its his high and demanding tone, but suddenly the little girl's fierceness seems to fade. So, instead of answering his question she decides to step away, hide behind the big table with the tubes that go to the ceiling and all the silly things and lights!
"Wait, where're you going!?" Oh no, children and their small tight spaces!
He tried to get her before she wedged herself between things, but he was too slow to react. Getting on his knees to be at eye level, he held out his hand to her, smiling gently. "Come here, dear, its alright!" Was that the appropriate thing to say?
"'m the Doctor, your friend! Oh! Would you like a jelly baby?" He fished through his side pocket and pulled out a small bag with the sweets inside and popped one in his mouth.
Ducking, Robin turned smaller and hid under some of the console's cables. The sound of the TARDIS' buzzing seemed too loud from Robin's spot, but just as she winced the noise seemed to ease off, as if to please the little girl.
"You don't look like a Toctor." She argued, her eyes fixed on the sweets. "You are not wearing white clotheses."
"Because where's the fun in that? I'm a fun doctor, going on explorations and trying to solve mysteries!" He moved his arm closer to her, trying to entice her with the sweets.
"C'mon out! I'll show you something amazing. Would you like that?" He'd open the TARDIS doors and show her space, something he never grew tired of watching their reactions.
Doctors were supposed to be safe. Doctors and policemans. That's what her parents said anyway. Still a bit wary, Robin crawled out of her hidding spot, her big eyes focused on the candy. Very carefuly, she picked one and brought it to her mouth.
Nodding as she tasted the sweet, she gave the Doctor a curious look. "What amazing?"
Then things clicked when she rolled her eyes. "Robin!?"

He finally coaxed her out and leading her by the hand, opened the front door to show her the universe. "It's space! We're in space!"

When the quirky man opened the doors and the vast universe was presented at her, she looked up at the Doctor, not impressed in the slightest.
"Daddy showeded me in the planetrium place."
No, you can't beat her Daddy. He'll always be first and awesomer, Doctor.
