Water must be making his eyes blurry, is what Murphy thinks when he first spots those damp white feathers at his feet.

But it's not until he turns to see his brother that he notices the white form growing on his back.

"The fuck did that came from?"

Connor was normal right before they stepped into the showers!

"Where the fuck did what come from?"

He turns to face Murphy. The movement throws him a little off balance, which takes him by surprise, but he doesn't really pay much attention to. The same as he doesn't really pay attention to the way the water from the shower feels weird. It's as if he's got into the show still clothed and he's not getting properly wet....

It keeps on growing until it takes a more familiar shape. It's shielding Connor completely now, parting into two just as Murphy expected.

"Yer a fucken' angel?!" He spat out, laughing in shock.

"So they keep sayin'." Connor grins, though he has no fucking idea where Murphy suddenly got that from.

He rolls his shoulders back though, until the muscle and joints crack and pop. Suddenly his back is aching a bit.

"No, yeh retard!" Murphy understands right away that his brother is oblivious of what is going on behind his back. Fucking figures.

He points at the newborn wings on his back. "Yeh got feathers comin' outta yer back!"

Part of him just wants to scoff and tell his prankster twin aye, right. An' yer arse is a ragin' inferno, but there's a feeling that he has now that actually, it might actually be the truth.

He only has to look over his shoulder and the white, soggy feathers twitch back at him. He fucken jumps! The wings spreading wide in his panic too.

Before he can even drink in what's going on, he feels as if a wet towel had smacked him straight on the face. Only, it doesn't stick to his features the way soggy fabric would.

It's Connor's wings.

Pushing them aside, he searches for his brother behind the feathery wall.

"Why have yeh got wings?!"
