[Matt holds out the kiwi that's fallen from the cart that's just passed him. Whereas most people would pass right by, or even crush the thing with their carts or their feet, he's quick to pick it up to return it to it's rightful owner, even if she decides it's not worth buying since it's little trip to the floor.]

[ It takes her a moment to realise that it's her that's being spoken to, and turns to see Matt holding a kiwi out to her. A little confused at first, she glances down at the basket in her arms where she notices that the bag has indeed burst. Smiling at Matt, she takes it back and raises her eyebrow a little.

[He nods, and offers a wider smile in response, fidgeting from foot to foot. What was the correct protocol here? Surely, he couldn't just turn and go, right?] Would have been a shame to leave it there. I'd hate to waste a good kiwi.
