After all, there are always aspects to an RP character that you don't always have a chance to play out, or may want to expand beyond what has been established. It could also be such a ingrained part of who they are, that it has never been brought up before.

5. It is still hands down one of my favourite scenes in the whole film. That face is why I can't believe it was all acting. Something clearly got to her. She just wanted to save face after.

5. She's too badass to let Loki know how far he managed to drive those awful things home. But you could just see her breaking. I loved the movie and Scarlett so much for putting all that stock in one simple gesture.

5. Exactly. I also say it's given her a need to flay him if she ever sees him again, but she's a patient woman. She can wait. I love them for giving her so much more to work with this time than Iron Man 2. I was never a Scarlett hater as Natasha, but she had limited material considering she spent most of her first appearance as a cover.

9. Yes, absolutely. Clearly Darcy will never be allowed a real gun so she's being taught to shoot with a water pistol in case of invasions.

5. Darcy approves of all Flaying of Loki. Dude needs more Hulk smash after what he did to Coulson and Erik. I was originally unsure of how I'd enjoy Scarlett as Widow, since I wasn't overtly familiar with her canon and I'd only seen Scarlett in random romantic comedies, some drama, and The Perfect Score at that point. But she sold me so fast it wasn't funny.

6. Darcy+guns=Somehow managing to blow holes in walls. I like to pretend her step-dad tried to teach her how to shoot, but it just ended badly XD.

5. Oh god, I laughed so hard in that bit... See, I've seen her in A LOT. Like... no joke. I know she had the range, but the bit that impressed me was that she wanted to do her own stunts wherever possible, and she did do all the fight training. So to see her really be able to hit her straps as Widow was vindicating for me. And I know all the comic canon, and to be honest... Cutting it back for the movieverse was a good plan. It has to happen in film canon because people forget that the comics have been written over decades. There's been years of shit building up and getting re-written and ignored and whatever else. I like what they chose to keep for her though. And I like the partnership with Clint that gives her someone to be anchored to.

5. I think half my theater about died of laughter. Did you ever see Perfect Score? I thought it was hilarious that he character fantasizes about being a badass super spy in a catsuit, and lo a few years later...
I read up on her a very small amount before Iron Man 2 to remind myself who the heck Black Widow was, and I'm kind of glad they seem to have ixnayed a lot of it, but I really look forward to seeing what they have established in a movie if she gets one.
It could be amazing and a lot darker/deeper then Marvel movies have really touched on, save for a few scenes here and there. One day though I will actually read up on Tasha's canon.

9. Taser's will always win out, as will teaming up to get Hill.

5. Yeah, I own it LOL. I kinda maybe have a Scarlett collection happening. Her imagining she was Trinity was kind of hilarious for sure. Actually one of the best resources is fuckyeahblackwidow.tumblr. The writer of it is just amazing and puts a lot of thought into their dissection of the character.
