bby have I told you lately that ilu NUMERO UNOthorgiMay 16 2012, 03:27:53 UTC
[Thor is left beaten and battered on the ground. He doesn't remember what has happened, but he feels the pain blooming from the back of his head. It crawled around his skull to wrap around it, binding his head in a throbbing hood. He blinks at the sunlight, trying to keep a hold on his consciousness.]
[Today was supposed to be quiet, just a nice outing with her and the capes, Jane, and Erik. But everyone knows that it's only when you pray for normalcy that your life goes completely backwards. One minute she was happily down the block fetching coffee for everyone, and the next she's racing down the street, pushing and weaving through groups of gawking bystanders. She'd heard the blast, she'd seen the flicker of lightning from the corner of her eye, and when the crowds mass began to lessen she saw just why everyone had gathered around with pained, confused faces. Thor isn't supposed to look like that. He's never supposed to look like that. Ignoring the protests of the police as they set up a barrier, Darcy ran over to the large God and bent down, her feelings of panic slowly rising as she took in his bloodied appearance. ]
[He blinked desperately, trying to focus on something - anything. When Darcy's face comes into view, he locked onto her eyes, his breathing ragged and frantic but seeing her familiar face seemed to calm him.]
Darcy- [He gasps, groaning in pain.] Darcy, the others...
I haven't seen anyone Thor. [ No this is not okay. This is not okay, no, no, no. Grabbing the scarf from her bag she presses it to his skull, eyes widening as the rainbow patterned material disappears underneath the red bloom of Thor's blood. Pressure on the wound was supposed to help, why wasn't this helping.] Thor, buddy come on.
I don't know Thor. I was getting all of us coffee and a Slurpee for you and I...[ Darcy's brow furrows as blood just continues to seep through the material of her scarf, but she keeps pressing, hoping it will stop it. She's to caught up to notice that her eyes are starting to wander, scared desperately for her friend and the others.] Oh god.
[He furrows his brows and sets his jaw, pushing through his pain. He needed to find the others. He needed to make sure that Jane- that everyone was okay.
He reached behind his head to cover Darcy's hand, pressing the scarf to his head, and started to sit up with a loud groan. It was almost a growl, a fierce roar as he tried to pulling himself to his feet.]

[ Rushing to help him Darcy presses her hands to his back, helping him to stand as well as she could. Her hand was covered in blood, his blood. If the others were hurt...she, she had no idea what she'd do.]
Thor, Thor buddy you're hurt. [ Darcy asserts her stance, taking as much of his weight as her small frame will allow, but she's panicking. If the enemy could hurt Thor so badly, then what about the others? Tony, Jane, Natasha, and Clint were human. Thor was a God. ]
[He held his arm around her, giving a grunt of protest.] I will live, but we must do our best to ensure the others shall as well. If we are lucky, they found cover.
[He moved forward, limping as he took her with him.] Jane! Erik!
[She makes a noise of slight protest when he starts to move, but not having much of a choice she follows, wrapping an arm firmly around his waist and bracing his arm with her shoulder. Her eyes go wide when she sees a large smoking hole in the side of Stark Tower.]
[Thor follows her gaze to the smoke, his stomach dropping. He lets out something of an intelligible roar and pushes forward, hurrying as he fast as he can to the tower. Now that his adrenalin has fully kicked in, he can hardly feel the pain in his head and he's more just holding onto to Darcy rather than using her for support. He had to get to that building.]
[ Fast as her comparatively short legs can follow Darcy steps over the rubble, praying to god they don't find anyone dead when they cross the threshold. She waves off some far too curious onlookers when they try to follow.]
[Thor tries to find someone - anyone who can tell him what was going on. Someone to tell him that they others had been found, or someone to point him in the right direction. He lets out another frustrated cry, stumbling toward the stairs.]

We must find the others. [He grimaced, taking a step forward.] And we must do what we can to help.
