4-14. Apparently RNG really wants Pepper and Tony in the snow.no_strawberriesMay 20 2012, 22:59:21 UTC
[Pepper might not like the snow, but there's something to be said about how beautiful New York looks at night when a light snowfall happens. When he steps out of the car at the base of Stark Tower, he looks up and wrinkles his nose a little.]
Maybe it's time we go back to Malibu for the season.
I don't think RNG understands that Tony and Pepper have no fluffy feelings about snow XDnottheworsthingMay 20 2012, 23:06:05 UTC
Malibu. Tahiti. Somewhere with sun and cocktails and beaches [Tony is perfectly fine with snow when it's on the other side of a window, but he hates being cold. As he also gets out of the car he brushes snowflakes from his shoulders and gives the sky an indignant look for having had the effrontery to drop them on him] Definitely beaches. Nude beaches if at all possible.
Aren't they mostly busy having riots about things in Europe just now? [The attention Tony pays to the news is...sporadic, to say the least] Argentina. It's even summer there.
Ooo, Santo Domingo [He pulls his coat tighter about himself and squints up at the sky] What d'you think Fury'll say if I suggest moving HQ somewhere with a better climate?
Yeah [He's brushing flakes of snow from his sleeves with a distasteful expression as he follows Pepper inside] Do they surgically remove your sense of humor during SHIELD training or something?
I suspect that it's a requirement upon recruitment that a sense of humor is non-existent. Why spend money on surgical removal when they can invest it in training?
[He looks amused.]
So, should I make immediate plans to fly to Santa Domingo?
[This was familiar grounds for Stephanie. War. They had been called upon to help a civilization avoid it and somehow managed to cause a small one. Things are exploding left and right. She has everyone but Tony in sight]
I hear you [He's currently about half a mile up, tracking the progress of two jets screaming toward the battleground. There's an urgent note to his voice] Cap, I think you've got an airstrike incoming.

I wouldn't mind the bahamas, either. [He bundles his scarf around his neck a little more, even though the walk to the door is a few steps.]

[Finally inside, he heads to the elevator and shakes the snow out of his hair.]

Yes. Santo Domingo. Definitely. I'm bored of being snowed on already.
