The first thing Bruce notices when he wakes up is an all-encompassing, pounding headache. Really, he'd roll over and go right back to sleep if he hadn't subsequently noticed some very important, troubling facts. First, that he was definitely hungover, which rarely happened because he rarely drank. Second, this was not his bed. Or his room. Or Stark Tower. Thankfully, it didn't seem to be some kind of government base, either. It looked like some kind of...hotel suite? Where was he? He couldn't remember most of last night.
He suddenly noticed a large lump under the covers, and after quickly making sure that he was, indeed, at least wearing pants, he tried for the most obvious answer first. "Tony? Is that you?"
"Ugh go away." Darcy burrowed further, trying to ignore whoever was speaking to her at this time of day. Because she gave no shits if it was noon. She felt like she'd been hit in the head by one of Barton's exploding arrows and Thor had tap danced his way to victory on her body.
Oh. Oh god, that was...not Tony. Not that waking up next to Tony wouldn't be awkward, but he would at least have expected it a little bit more. Waking up next to Darcy, though... Regardless of what had actually happened, Thor would kill him.
Oh god why is there still noise happening. Grunting in annoyance Darcy pokes one bleary eye out from the sanctuary of her blanket cocoon and gives him a slow once over, the effort making her head swim. "Alcohol poisoning, possible death, and I think we may have to bust someone out of the slammer."
Bruce looks briefly dumbfounded - mostly, he's just worried about who they need to bail out of jail, and why - and no, Darcy, he's not going to let you go back to sleep.
"Who all was with us? Where are they, and why are we here?"
But Bruce. Sleep sounds so gooood, and sleep means she can ignore people. "People. Like everybody, I remember Thor and company, and I don't know man. Apparently my place is the midway between death and Stark Tower."
"Lewis isn't home right now please leave a message." She waits hoping it will work, but she can still feel those damn big brown eyes on her. Sighing She unwraps herself and sits up, raising an eyebrow at the Silent Hill t-shirt she has on. She hates that game. But at least they both appear to be in clothes. "Do you remember anything." She stares at Bruce's hair for a moment before plucking her glasses from his head and putting them on. "Why the sweet fuck are we in a cabin."
He thoroughly ignores childish attempts to throw him off. He does look a little surprised - he'd assumed it was his glasses on his head, but apparently not - where were his glasses? Off somewhere with his cellphone, he assumed.
"I don't know. I don't remember getting here, and I can't find the phone Tony gave me. If you don't have yours, it might be in our best interests to try to find everything and head home." This is starting to make Bruce feel uneasy.
"Avert your eyes Dr.B." This would be where Darcy goes digging through her bra looking for her cell when she realizes her pants are lacking in pockets, and dig she does. But she comes up short. "Alright nothing in Victorias Secret compartment. Home might be a good idea bro. I don't fancy some Deliverance shit going down and fleeing with Big Green just yet."
Bruce takes the time looking away to take stock of the room. He's wearing most of his clothing, but his jacket hangs over a chair by a table. His glasses and phone are also not on the table. He slides out of bed and pads barefoot to his jacket - whose pockets are empty.
"Leaving looks to be the best decision. Quickly." Except - where did he put his shoes?
