*She wasn't supposed to fall asleep, she was aware of his duties and also of how others suspected their relationship. Staying in his tent would only stir things badly. It would only give Shane other reasons to pick on Daryl, Beth's Dad and Lori would sure be vocal about the issue. Her Dad...*
*But she was exhausted and a little rest was what she needed, after getting so far with him for the first time.*
*Daryl had dozed off as well. He woke up feeling warm, and more groggy than he had in a while. It would have been easy to shrug off the feeling and turn over, go back to sleep. Except for the fact that he couldn't turn over*
*that's when he remembered the calming, sated state that he'd fallen asleep in, why he had felt like that. He smiled down at her lying across his shoulder and chest, his hand coming up to cover her hand*
*Her Dad had teased her about it, pointed out that she spoke of weird things in her sleep sometimes. It had made Robin blush and call him names, but she still wondered if her father was attempting a lame joke or if he spoke the truth.*
*Seb wasn't lying.*
I don't want to... *she frowned lightly, arguing with an imaginary someone as her fingers flexed over Daryl's naked chest.*
*at her words he pulled his hand away and shifted a bit, ready to get up and away from her. He'd heard words like that too many times, from his mother, from women that Merle... Daryl wasn't like that, he swore that he never would be*
*but Robin didn't pull back and though his movement was jerky, Daryl stopped. She was still asleep on his chest, though her expression could have been one of wakefulness*
What don' you want t'? *he muttered softly down to her*
*Robin scrunched up her nose, turning her face against Daryl's chest, almost as if hiding from the annoyance of not being let sleep properly and being dragged into conversation*
*This time, she doesn't respond automatically. It's almost as if she's dozed off to sleep again, but after a moment and a muttered 'no', Robin nuzzles Daryl's chest and finally flutters her eyes open.*
*Through hooded eyelids, she stares into the darkness of his tent, before looking up and realising that Daryl is staring at her.*
*he can feel the change in her breathing, the stir of her body as she becomes more aware of her surroundings. He waits for her, not wanting to scare her though; he's not sure who or where she was dreaming of, and their ... whatever this was... was still new to them both*
Yeah. I slept great. *embarrassed, Robin wipes a little droll off the corner of her mouth. She feels her face get hot as she soon also wipes a wet patch on his chest.*
Sorry I fell asleep on you like that. *Even though she suspected he might not mind about it. Stiffing a yawn, she asks:* Was I out cold for long?
*Murphy still hurts after being separated from Connor, but it's not a strange thing to see him so attached to a man that looks closer to a twin to him than his true brother does.*
*He follows him and helps him hunt, clumsy as he can be at intending to be quiet. He mimicks him and even attempts to learn to shoot a crossbow. Murphy proves to be a quick student on regards of that, at least.*
*He has no shame on leaning against the other man as he begins to doze off. Daryl is not as comfortable as Connor is, but Daryl comforts him at least.*
*Daryl ain't never got cozy with some guy before. Merle... He didn't count because he was never cozy: Whenever they'd had to bunk together, Merle was all heavy arms that smacked you across the face, a mass of neglected muscle that always wanted all the bed*
*Murphy was different. He was clingy, sure, but compact too, trying to find a space to slot into, wanting to become part of Daryl's body rather than just crushing on the top of it*
*he had complained, frequently, but folk who'd seen it didn't act funny like he was expecting, not even Merle. Maybe folk didn't think it looked so queer when the other guy is your mirror image*
