[his fingers brush along her arm as he presses a light kiss to her hair, drawing her back against his chest on the couch... eyes watching the snow drift down outside.]

[He's comfortable and very warm, which makes the snow watching all the more enjoyable. No extra blanket needed for cuddling.]

You know, I can't remember the last time we actually got to relax. It wasn't in that motel we stayed in.

[he nodded, feeling a little strange about it himself... but as far as trips go, they did well.] Too busy trying to get warm..

[Chloe turns a little in his arms to smile up at him as she kisses his jaw.] You? Too busy trying to get warm? I'm sure.

Hey - I was being chivalrous for you! [he protests, his grin giving him away as he looked down at her.] Seriously - women. Never satisfied.

I remember being satisfied twice last night and once again this morning. [Her own grin was a little cheeky.]

...Glad to hear it. [he snorts into her hair softly.]

[Teasing him is so easy, but she hopes he knows she does it in good fun. Tilting her head up just a little, she sighs, happiness evident in the gesture.]

I'm usually happy when you're around.

[whoa, that's deep. Johnny, what do?]

Yeah? [he turns a little so he can face her, eyes soft.] Even better to hear..

[and it is. Sort of. Because he hadn't anticipated when he stayed behind for shots at that bar he'd see her again - and ten the road trip happened. And here they were. Here he was, in no hurry to leave. Not feeling like staying the whole day and a night as strange anymore...because being with Chloe made it sort of okay.]

[It had been an off-the-cuff remark and she hadn't been aiming for deep. It'd just sort of happened. So she nodded and repeated his 'yeah' back to him, then got comfortable against his chest again.]

Just don't let it go to your head. You're a little impossible to deal with when your ego gets inflated.

[Her amusement was in her voice. Mostly, she'd hoped to have taken some of the 'deep' out of the situation. It wasn't supposed to be one of those high-pressure relationships.]

[Panting softly, Dana took a moment to catch her breath before rolling to curl into Johnny's chest. Good to know the sex was still amazing. Or maybe there was the fact that she hadn't had it in what felt like years.

Either way, it was nice, to be pressed against him like this. Close. Damn she'd missed him more than anything.

Humming, she nuzzled her face into his neck and curled an arm around him as if to ensure he wouldn't move away from her anytime soon.]

[one arm crossed behind his head as he drew the other over her back as she curled in close, smile faint. Johnny pressed lips to her cheek, over her forehead a moment as he sighed. Still a little breathy, plenty satisfied and sated.] You're pretty amazing, you know...

[and yes, he can say that - it's her. And she knows he doesn't usually, so it's a big deal.]

[Dana's lips curled into a small smile at that, nuzzling her face in closer to drop a kiss to his heated skin.] You're not too bad yourself baby.

[Her voice was soft, teasing only slightly-- because yeah, she knew. But pressing another kiss to his neck, she dropped the teasing tone from her voice, left only contentment in it this time.] Love you.

[Said it because she could. And Dana knew she wasn't usually the affectionate type, but she also felt like she needed to make up for lost time. Also just wanted him to know.]

Mm.. why wouldn't you? [he teased, because he could. His fingers brushed over her elbow, just above her hip, loving the warmth of her against his own skin.. he had no intention of getting dressed, nope. They were sleeping like this. Built in furnace here.]
