[It hadn't been that long since Castiel last saw Dean, yet the angel missed the man terribly. It was hard to have time alone with the oldest Winchester. When it wasn't Sam, it was the case. When it wasn't a case, it was some other problem. Dean was always distracted, Castiel always had the armies of heaven behind him.

It was time consuming. And it pleased no one.

Yet Castiel had a moment to himself, he had time. Heaven was at ease and there were no cases as far as they could tell. So Castiel dropped in on Deans motel room. The angel appeared in a flurry of feathers, eyes searching the room for his hunter.]

Dean?

Cas? [Dean had been relishing the downtime he had tonight,honestly. He was kicked back on the couch in the motel room, beer in hand and a half-empty pizza box in front of him. Sam was at Bobby's to get some help and wouldn't be back until tomorrow and he was holding down the fort here.
