Let's go with 8? I figured they should get to the next phase of their plan.willneversayyesAugust 9 2012, 13:17:21 UTC
[Sam had waited for more than a week- impatiently, if he was being honest- for Stiles to call him. And it wasn't entirely because he wanted to know when the meeting with Derek and Scott was going to be. But he wasn't going to focus on that right now, because he still hadn't heard from Stiles, and he was starting to worry that Derek had killed him for suggesting he meet up with a Hunter. So when the worry finally got to be too much, Sam picked up his phone and called the teen.]
Works for me! (:alotofadderallAugust 9 2012, 17:16:57 UTC
[Stiles hadn't called Sam like he said he would, instead getting distracted by forced guidance counselor visits, lacrosse practice, and a complete lack of contact with both Scott and Derek. Every time he tried to get near one of them they disappeared, and it was starting to piss him off.]
Scott I swear to God if this is about the Chem homework I am so not helping you - [Stiles answered his cell phone without thought, not even bothering to check the caller I.D. considering so few people called him these days.]
[Sam smiled softly at the way Stiles answered the phone, so sure it was his best friend calling him. That, and he was pleased the teen wasn't dead. Definitely a plus as far as he was concerned.]
[Stiles froze, blinking wildly at the male voice on the other end that was most certainly not Scott's, trying to think of who it could be if not another hunter threatening him - before he remembered that he'd given Sam his number and promptly felt like an idiot.] Ohh God, hey Sam. I'm sorry I didn't call you.
[He hadn't expected to hear from the teen right away, but more than a week with nothing but silence and his own disturbingly vivid imagination made for a very concerned Hunter.]
Any news?
[Because this was a call about business. Nothing else.]
No. Both Scott and Derek have been avoiding me. [Not even a freaking wall shove. What the hell was up with them lately?] Allison's still rouge and two of Derek's pack have been reported as runaways.
A variation of that was in the Bestiary. [Stiles propped his chin in his hand, eyes narrowing in thought.] What about the Argents? They're the ones who had the book in the first place. Can you find anything out about them?
They've been in Beacon Hills before, [Stiles drummed his fingers against his leg, trying to think.] And the way they do it is by passing the torch - hunting has been in their family for a while.
What about town records? [Stiles tossed around the idea, trying to figure out a way they could get in.] Do you think they'd have anything?

It's been a while since I've taken chemistry.

I was just a little worried.

How about you? Find anything on the Kanima?

Just that it's supposed to be a werewolf. I don't know if you knew that or not.

[But Sam would try. Stiles needed him to. It seemed as though all the teen's friends had chosen to abandon him, and Sam refused to.]

[But it was a good plan. He would definitely look into the town records.]

[It had nothing to do with Sam wanting to see the teen again, of course. He was a professional.]
