Should ward off any unpleasant dreams; knocks me out like a dream. [Stiles decided that yes, he probably should take a shower since he was up anyway, and tugged at his kneeguards.] ...You're welcome to sleep here, if you want. [Derek looked pretty comfortable on his bed.]
Thanks. [Derek nodded in Stiles direction as he started to get his kneeguards off, watching as he sipped at the tea and considered the offer that followed.] ... I'm not taking your bed, Stiles.
C'mon man, I know you've got to be tired. [Just look at how completely out he was before. Stiles tossed the pads into a corner and started pulling off his jersey, undershirt underneath stained with sweat.] Do you even have a bed?
[He didn't deny being tired. It was hard to do that when he'd been asleep not that long before, after all. And Derek ignored the question in favor of asking his own.] Where will you sleep?
I've got a sleeping bag. [Stiles shrugged, moving to his drawer to pick out a fresh pair of boxers and a t-shirt.] I'd sleep in the guest room, but my dad doesn't know you're here, so that would look weird.
I don't think I'd still be here if your dad did know I was here. [Another long drink finished off the mug of tea and Derek rose to put the empty cup somewhere that wouldn't end with it broken.] I'm not taking your bed. I'll sleep on the floor.
Nuh-uh, you're a guest. Guests always sleep on my bed. [Stiles shook his head, raising an eyebrow.] I think it defeats the purpose of sleeping on a comfortable bed if you sleep on the floor.
Dude, seriously? Logic dictates you sleep on the bed. [Stiles crossed his arms, pajamas still fisted in one hand. Somehow he had a feeling Derek wasn't going to give in, stubborn wolf.]
Oh for the love of - fine, how about this? [Stiles moved over to the bed, pulling back the covers on one side.] You sleep on this side. I'll sleep on the other. Happy?
Fine. [Stiles shakes his head, muttering to himself about how damn stubborn Derek was, taking his pajamas into the bathroom and closing the door firmly.]
[He watched Stiles go and strongly considered making himself comfortable on the floor anyway, but he eventually shrugged his jacket off and removed his boots so he could sink down on one side of the mattress.]
[Stiles took a quick shower, leaving the rest of his uniform in a pile on the floor. He was quick to dry off and slip into his boxers, pulling the shirt over his head as he walked back out into the room.]
