Normally, Dorothy doesn't do the grocery shopping. Her aunt does the shopping, and the cooking, and Dorothy tends to just do the cleaning. This time, however, she has been asked to do it to get her off the farm and away from getting into any form of trouble.

It's wintertime, so the produce aisles are somewhat empty, so Dorothy is headed for the grains, picking up a sack of flour that is a little too heavy for a farmgirl who isn't used to doing much lifting. She groans a little under the weight and shifts the bag, but oops. The clumsy girl's dropped it, and not into the cart.

"Oh, dear," she sighs, bending to pick up the top of the sack again, once again, without much luck.

Aubrey's already reaching over, and if they narrowly avoid knocking their heads together it's probably not been the first time.

"Oh, I wouldn't worry about it," he says. "Happens to the best of us."

The voice and pair of hands assisting her startles Dorothy just a bit, but she smiles all the same, careful not to bump heads. Hers is still a little sore from a window, after all.

"Oh. Thank you," she says, arms wrapping around the center of the sack to lift it up again, this time with a bit more stability and just a little assistance. "I didn't think it'd be so... heavy."
