[She gives him another squeeze since he doesn't seem to be letting go, but that's alright. It's Artie after all] So how was your night? I'm sorry I couldn't get away, Mom was a stickler about it beings girls' night.
[Artie loved the feel of her fingers in his hair. He became putty in her hands, normally. But he was trying to focus.] I always miss you, you know that.
[He paused for a moment, trying to work out the best way to phrase things.] One of the phone calls was your Mom, asking where you were.
[Artie sighed, not looking at her.] I know. I was worried, so I went out looking for you in case something bad had happened. Couldn't get that nagging feeling out of my head that something was wrong. Of course, seeing you with that other guy, I really wish I hadn't...
[Tina felt like the air was sucked out of the room] You....you saw me? [No no no, this was going to wreck everything she'd worked so hard for, all her efforts to keep it hidden!] Artie....it, it wasn't what it looked like...

[She leans over to give him a hug and a kiss, as per usual] Well I'm a lot better now that you're here.

[Now she's moved to playing with his hair, the way it falls across his forehead] Hm, I really missed you though. You miss me?
