[The small brunette hurries down the alley after the lost, and admittedly evil looking, alien. But its just a baby and how was she to know it would grow ten times it's size if she took it out for a walk?]
Here...boy? I think...
[If only the Doctor hadn't wandered off none of this would have happened.
She turns down an alley and sees a small blonde with a knife. Oh dear. Not great. The alien may be a baby, but its not entirely harmless.]
Erm, hello! Sorry. You can't come this way. There's a terrible...gas leak. I'm afraid you'll have to go around.
Excuse me, I'm looking for a little dog, she's got white fur, wearing a pink sweater with a matching leash, have you seen her? *Blaine asked anxiously, hopping from one foot to the next, looking distraught.*
Canon for now, but I'm tempted to try the modern one! :Dmislaid_myrtleMarch 15 2014, 22:56:11 UTC
Rivendell is different from any other place Kili has seen with his own very eyes. Different from what he had seen with his mind's eyes, after all the stories the elders have told him regarding elves and their lands.
"How long do you think Uncle will endure being here?" He asked his brother, a hint of a smile already gracing his lips. "Do you think he will make it to the morning?"
"I hope so," he kept his voice down, unsure if he was supposed to admit that he would like to stay longer than only a day, or if he should be shouting protests about accepting the hospitality of elves. At least even Dwalin seemed to be appeased after they were offered food, and if their uncle's right hand dwarf was happy to linger, that was enough for now.
Fili fidgeted with his pipe a while, but he couldn't settle. He'd watched the hobbit wander off on his own a while before and he was jealous that Bilbo felt free to explore. "I've not seen Uncle in some time though, do you think that we should check on him?"
"No, there is no danger in the land of the elves, otherwise Gandalf wouldn't have brought as here. And Uncle is able to look after himself," Kili said with too much security for someone who was deep down fighting his own unease.
Blowing out some smoke he laid back on a chair that was meant for someone at least twice his height, then looked over at Fili, who was still fidgeting with his own pipe. "We are not in danger here, right?" He suddenly asked, never being one to hide anything from his brother. "Gandalf would not have brought us here if we were... Right?"

(Excuse the lack of modern icons if you go with that, the idea is on a whim right now.)
