HARDEST WORDS TO SAY

Sometimes the hardest things to say are also the most important. It doesn't matter how much it scares you to do so, it's finally time to be honest.

- post as your character.
- Others go to RNG and roll numbers 1-22 then respond setting up a scenario.
- Respond and have fun!

Charles had dark circles beneath his eyes when he sat inside the home. He hadn't slept very well since he had gotten there. His feelings towards Erik had changed drastically since they had relocated there. Part of him thought Erik was afraid that Charles would leave him, but Charles had actually started to fear Erik. He feared he would never get to leave. The random acts of kindness (such as the book, and the ability to go outside and look at gardens) hadn't really eased his fears. At some point, Charles had realized he would have to tell Erik.

Outdoors had done him some good. Being able to breathe in that nice air had given him the ability to build up the courage to tell Erik why he had been losing sleep.

Charles looked back towards Erik and nodded. That desperate part of him longed to be back in the world. All logic said that this truly was the safest place to be after everything that had happened. It was part of why he hadn't tried hard enough to find a way out. Knowing Erik caused him to force anything he was feeling beneath the surface so that he wouldn't feel worse for confiding in someone who, perhaps, couldn't give him what he would need in response to it.

It was getting harder and harder to suppress his feelings the longer he stayed there. "In a moment."

Charles took the plate without needing Erik to request him to. He place his plate gently on his lap and started to eat, he was quiet as he stared out at the trees. "I do like it out here." His eyes drifted to Erik, getting back to his food quietly.

Charles seemed to prefer it outside more and more lately. He just didn't want to sit inside with Erik and face those awkward and uncomfortable moments of silence that passed between them at times. "Even with it getting cooler." He certainly wasn't at ease, though.
