[A beautiful maiden sat in her carriage and it rolled through the country side, she was headed to the next kingdom in the area, she was to be married to the elven Prince Mickey who she had betrothed to since before she was born. They had met a few times when they were children but she hadn't seen him since she was nine. The young princess let out a sigh and rested her elbow on the door, chin propped on her hand she stared out the window. She was terribly bored and wished to stop soon to stretch.]
[Apparently there's a lot of conflicted feelings bout this marriage. There's something about an impeding war and averting it, and people who apparently want it or something. There's been considerable threatening on her life, enough that none of the princess' guard can be trusted. He was passing through, just a normal human sell-sword who impressed the imperial family with his skills on a coincidental earlier attempt on her life.
He's just a human, neither comprehending nor interested in Elven politics...and now he'll have a very fat purse if he delivers her to this Prince Mickey alive and healthy.
And so he's kicked back in the carriage munching on an apple.]
[Brown eyes flickered over to the human in her carriage, a sculpted brow raising as he happily munched. Ugh, humans. They seemed like such simple creatures. Golden curls framed her face and tumbled down around her shoulders and to the mid of her back. A elegant silver jeweled crown was on her hair and she was wearing a pink gown that had fitted sleeves that reached to a point on the backs on her hands, the shoulders puffed and the gown dipped in a curled collar just across the tops of her breast.
She still couldn't believe she had to share such tight quarters with a human servant.]
[Well he's a simple creature with a sharp stick not trying to kill her, so apparently he's a step up from her guard. Imagine that, Princess.
He arches an eyebrow at her when he sees her look.] Not a servant, Princess. Sell-sword, which means I don't take orders and you can't tell me to hurl myself out of this thing.
Same thing. And please, you must do all I say. My father is paying you to do so. [She rose her nose a bit then and looked at him. She was not amused. He talked too much and liked to act as if he were brilliant. Pfft, hardly.]
[He positively lounges where he sits, and gives a cheeky little smile, tossing the apple core out the window.] No, Princess, your father is paying me to keep you alive, not wait on your pretty hands and feet. Nor to make friends with you.
Like I would ever be friend with you. [She then did the very unprincess like thing and roll her eyes.] and that also means you fetch me what I want and do as I say! I am royalty and you will treat me as such! [As he tossed the apple core out she wrinkled her nose in disgust.]
[He laughs and tosses his arms over the back of the seat. Luckily it's so unnecessarily wide his arms are still far from touching the little elf.] You're not my princess. Got one of those already. [Not that he listens to the little brat. He hates royalty, except when they pay him.] You can ask one of those hand maids if you want a foot rub. Or an...ear rub, whatever you elves do.
[Oh he has no intention of touching her. He likes his women warm and buxom, not waifly and repressed.]
It must be special living in your world, Princess. Elves must trip over themselves to fix your smudged make up and bring you water, don't they? Do yourself a favor and never go to a human town.
Still your tongue, human! [She snapped just as the carriage lurched, the horses outside neighing loudly. Rose was thrown forward as she found herself making a sharp and heavy impact on the floor. She let out a cry then.]
[His smirk drops immediately at the sudden stop, and he catches himself at the lurch better than her. Rather than look after her, he makes a shushing motion and peers subtly out of one of the windows.
He can't see anything from this angle, but his hand is on the sword at his side anyway.] Princess...you weren't expecting anyone new mid-way through this trip were you?
[She was about to start insisting that he help her up when he shushed her. Slowly she pulled herself up and moved to sit back on the seat.] Absolutely not. What's out there? [And now she was trying to look out the window herself.]
[He hisses at her and grabs her arm, yanking her back, voice lower than before.] Get down, Princess, and be quiet, understand? I think we've just made an unscheduled stop.

If I ask for a foot rub you'll give me one....if I even permitted you to touch me.
