[He was like an excited puppy with his jacket bundled up and a scarf around his neck. Extending his hand out we wiggled his fingers for her to take it.]
[She couldn't stop the grin from spreading at his silly finger-waggle, and it doesn't take her any prompting to slip her hand into his. And then they're bounding out into the snow, and she's laughing like mad at his enthusiasm.]
OMG that icon! <3captoftardisSeptember 24 2011, 05:18:07 UTC
Yeess, but think about it! Pretty little flakes each with its own crystallized pattern specifically for it. And these, Ohh these are my favorite - the big fluffy kind! Not to to be confused with the wet kind, these don't last as long, and... Are you listening?
Hee~ Wish I knew who made it, I'm a derp about crediting.huffpuffblondeSeptember 24 2011, 05:24:18 UTC
[She was listening, but with an amused expression that suggested she might just have been laughing at him in her head. Her tongue poked out in answer to his question, and then her eyes darted to the sky, the flakes falling more and more quickly.]
I always listen. Mostly.
[And she stuck her tongue out, properly, to catch one on her tongue.]
[He grins in bemusement at her.] See? You enjoy it too.
[And he meandered down the street rambling about some of favorite memories in the snow.] My favorite thing to do is to take a walk on the first snowfall, something makes me excited for it each time. Even though it's hard to find the exact time for it with the whole time and space travel...
[She turned her head back to him, momentarily giving up on her quest for snowflake snacks.]
That why we've been in a cabin in the middle of the forest for the last three days? Waitin' for the first snowfall?
[That was unexpected, and a bit sweet. She'd just thought he'd been making repairs or something. She tugged away from him for a second, flopping backward onto the grass, flailing her limbs to and fro.]
[He rubbed at his eyes.] Well, that might have been part of it.
[When she flopped down, he couldn't help but laugh and flop down beside her and watched, then mirrored her actions.] What do you call this again? Snow... something? Snow shadow?
[She let out a squeal and pushed herself to her feet. She dodged out of the way of the flying ball of slush, return-fire already scooped and mid-fling. Time to retreat behind the safety of the tree that was now her fort.]
[He was left exposed in the clearing, and immediately he rose to his feet to retreat behind a tree of his own.]
You won't win this one! [He looked around the corner, observing the distance between him and her and planned his attack. He picked up a handful and threw it in her direction to see if she immediately retaliated.]
[She called over her shoulder, firmly hiding behind the tree. At least, until he initiated fire. At that point, she scoops up snow and does immediately retaliate, hurling her snow-wad in his general direction.]
[He looks excitedly out the window of the cabin they had been staying.] Up for a walk, Rose?

Sure, yeah. Sounds lovely.
[She pushed away from the couch, running into the bedroom to grab her coat. She was back again in a second.]
Ready?

It's only snow. Earth snow, even.

Snow angel, Doctor. How can you not remember that? The whole point is the wings.
[She stopped flailing, looking suddenly disappointed.]
I forgot, it's completely impossible to do a perfect one. Gets ruined when you stand up, you get your hand prints all in it.

[With her forlornly at her realization, he couldn't help to scoop up a small handful of snow and tossed it in her direction.] Oi! Don't get all mopey!

Oi! Rude!
[She scooped up some in response, lobbing it at his head.]

Rose Tyler! [He blinked away the mess and threw another snowball her direction. He wasn't sure where it landed, if it hit her at all.]
