She finishes pulling her hair back into a ponytail and peers over him. She's clearly nervous. "I'm totally new at this. Never sparred ever. Try an' go easy on me?"
Truth be told, he's not exactly an expert either. "Hey, the room's not spinning for me every time I stand up now. I can't make any promises." Trevor grins, nodding to a wall of weapons. "You wanna do this hand to hand or make it interesting?"

"Then I can't promise I won't make ya cluck like a chicken, Trevor." She stuck her tongue out at him. "I don't even know how t'hold any of these weapons let alone use 'em." She laughed lightly. "Only thing that'd be interestin' is how many different ways I can chop my own foot off."
"Cluck?" Trevor smirks, wrapping his hands in that stupid sports tape he's got no idea what the real purpose is for. He's seen guys use it, and since Vi doesn't really know him, he can make a good impression.
"So hand to hand it is." He takes a stance like Neo in The Matrix and genstures for her to come at him. He's not gonna say anything like that, though. Too lame.
"Oh c'mon y'know what I mean..." She eyes the tape and raises a brow slightly. "What's that stuff even for?" Hard to make a good impression when she's not sure what it's for either!
"Yea. Hand to hand." Said as she is clearly trying her hardest to not laugh at his fighting stance.
"No idea." Trevor slaps his hands together like he's seen Chuck Norris do a million times.
"I'd try and be like Chuck, but I'd need a cowboy hat." Trevor pouts as she clearly tries to hold in her laughter. "C'mon, don't make me actually want to kick your ass."
"So yer jus' as clueless with this as I am?! This is going to be hilarious!" She glances around as if looking for something.
"Are we tapin'n this fer that funny home videos show? If not we totally should be." She giggled lightly before falling into her best attempt at a fighting stand...which is pretty horrible, honestly.
"Hilarious. Sure." Trevor says sarcastically as he watched her pose. That nearly makes him burst out laughing, but he holds it in. He walks closer to Vi, reaching out for her arms.
"You're too tight. Gotta loosen up." Trevor instructs as he gently moves Vi into the right position. Sure, he's no fighter, but he's seen training more times than he can count.
"Legs?" He nods to her, as if asking permission to move her into the right position.
She can't help but let out a snort of laughter when he says that. "You've got to be the first guy to complain that I'm too tight..."
She lets him move her hands but lets out another laugh when he asks about her legs, trying her best not to move her arms from the position he put them into. She was kind of disappointed at herself for being so immature but she really couldn't help it.
"Go for it..." She's still snickering lightly, hoping he finds this as funny as she does.
He actually blushes when she catches that little double entendre. He IS a Harkness after all and expecting them not to flirt or even get flat out inappropriate would be like expecting blood from a stone.
Like the gentlemen he is, though, Trevor refrains from getting too close to any parts that Violet might not want touched. He crouches down to inspect her legs and frowns. "Still too," He chuckles and stressed the last word. "Tense. Loosed up or you're gonna pull something."
Violet is still giggling lightly. Behavior one might only expect from a girl who either never had sex or had a crush on the person she was talking to. She tried to loosen up a bit but to no avail. She frowns and peers down at him.
"I swear I'm tryin'. I don't know why I'm so tense."
That makes him raise a brow. He can almost smell a virgin, but he's gonna leave this one alone. "Don't laugh, this is serious. You don't loosen up, you could really hurt yourself."
"I'm tryin' not t'but yer makin' it hard not t'augh." She bites her bottom lip to try and stop the onslaught of giggles but just ends up snickering lightly while half-grinning. "Got any tips fer loosenin' up, senesei?" She's totally mocking him. Can you blame her?
