[He hasn't been sleeping much, if at all lately. It doesn't matter what world he's in or how he landed there, his world and everyone he loved in it was gone. All because of him.

[Still, Sam tries to muster a weak smile for Crysta.] Hey.

[Crysta frowns as she walks over to Sam. He was always so...down. But that hadn't stopped her from trying to befriend him the first time she saw him in the bookstore. Maybe it was the broken spirit, or perhaps just the puppy eyes, but Crysta had just been drawn near... At least he still came into the store regularly now, whatever that meant she wasn't sure.]

Hey...how're you doin' today? [She asked quietly, sitting in the one empty chair beside him.]

[Sam was drawn to books, even now. His memory was still a bit fragmented and it made things hard on him, but being around old books was familiar and calming. And.. he liked Crysta. She was kind and always seemed to have a soft word for him.]

She worried about him, not that she knew everything about his past, but this man before her...he deserved better, that much she knew.]
