[forgive the irony - Adam sleeps like the dead. Great for when big bro needs some rest from his naggin' about Angels, and duty and fuckin' Michael and the Apocalypse. He's sitting in a chair, straddling its front as his head is tipped to his arms. On watch. Really]

[He'd always been a deep sleeper, even back before he died - not that Adam actually brought that fact to the front of his mind often. The only bad thing about it was that his future doctor career definitely couldn't deal with heavy sleepers. That didn't matter anymore though since college went out the window the day he'd gotten eaten. He shifts, face turning towards the pillow with small huffing sound.]

[glancing back, his eyes narrow just slightly. It was just them for now... he wondered if the kid was doin' alright. Just because he was sleeping didn't mean it was good]

[It's weird for him, dreaming that is. Adam thought when he slept it would be riddled with visions of the ghouls killing him and his blood all over; but it never was. He'd always go back to when he was a kid with his mom in that park to watch her smiling face at better times. Sometimes, he even thought he could live in those dreams.]

[his hand reaches out, slightly cuffs the kid's chin. It's affection he would deny when he woke, or if he caught him -- but it was there. He was family]

[The touch doesn't bother him much beyond making him stir a little and mumble something about 'being nice' with half of a smile on his face.]

Jeez. [he snorts softly, satisfied the kid was dreaming just fine. Good. He needed it. And Dean wouldn't fault it]

[Smiling, it sounds likes he chuckles softly before turning to his other side. Yep, he's having a pretty good dream.]

[oh, he is soooo gonna get teased when he wakes up. Dean's lips quirk up. Full grin as he pokes Adam in his side]

Hm? [He swats at the poke.] Five more minutes.

Nope. [pokes again] Need ya awake, man. There's trouble.

Nuh uh. [There's a groan and he buries his face in the pillow completely, shaking his head. Not even the words of trouble are bothering him much.]

[pokes the side of his neck -] Hey.

[Adam whines, cracking an eye slightly to look at Dean.] Hm?
