While I cannot give you any useful recommendations as to a particular shop, I will say that I recently was asked to create some artwork for my dear G. It was a great surprise to me that the designs were transfered directly to his skin; I believe that the tattoo artist used some kind of special copy paper to get the design not only exactly where it was intended, but all the details of my lettering were also just as I drew them (rather than an "interpretation"). So it would seem that getting a design exactly as desired should not be outrageously difficult.

Thanks for that. I thought there was a transfer process some studios use to create a guide to follow.
