Not here. Let's go.
[Superman is suddenly grabbing you and flying away to his fortress Bruce. Uh oh?]
Reply
[Bruce starts squirming and wiggling around, but there's no way he can get out of Clark's iron grip.]

[As if he would, ever... they reach the fortress in a matter of minutes, where Clark leaves him without giving any kind of explanation]
Are you hungry?

Kidnapping isn't your style. What's going on here?
[He looks around his surroundings and gets the sinking realization that he is practically, for all intents and purposes, trapped within the fortress. He didn't wear his thermal suit, and the Batmobile and Batwing are still in Gotham. Ill-equipped, he would die of hypothermia well before he ever reached civilization. And that's if he could manage to get away from Clark.
Clearly, Clark had thought this through. No--Clark had thought like Bruce himself would. Under different circumstances, Bruce would compliment Clark. But given the current situation, Bruce wasn't so sure a compliment was in order.]

Bruce Bruce Bruce.]
I'm just trying to protect you. And I also thought... we'd need a calmer place to talk? And what's more calm than my fortress? [He smiles, image of commiseration and goodness and love and suddenly his eyes turn red and Bruce might feel warm all of a sudden.
That's right Bruce, the only way you won't die of hypothermia is staying close to Superman and his warm eye lasers.]

Oh hell. Bruce is very, very aware of all the ways that Clark could effortlessly hurt him. He doesn't need--nor want--a reminder of that.
It's safe to say that he is very far outside of whatever passes for his comfort zone. He starts to back away slowly from Clark. He realizes the need to tread softly here: one careless word, one wrong move, and he'll be in a world of pain.]
Clark, I appreciate the thought, I really do . . . but I don't need to be protected. I'll be fine.
Reply
Not if he behave, anyway.]
I know you think so. It's fine.
To err is human.
[To forgive, Divine.]
Even though all of this is completely your fault.
Reply
Granting that's true, how is it my fault? [He's really wishing he still had that sliver of kryptonite.]
Reply
Ah, stubborn as always, Brucie Bruce Bruce. You know why is it your fault.
[And with a blur, Supes is pinning Batsy against the wall, closecloseclose and he can smell Bruce.
Not that he usually couldn't, not that he didn't spend hours smelling Batman from miles away. But now he would be able to even without powers... and he likes that.]
Why do you this to me Bruce? Why do you do this to us?
Reply
No . . . I don't know. If I did, I wouldn't have asked. Care to explain it to me until I do know?
[Clark can probably also hear (and feel) Bruce's elevated pulse. Normally he is very good at controlling his heart rate, but this situation has made him very uncomfortable.]
Do what?
