According to my kid's 4th grade teacher (this was back when my kid was actually in 4th grade, which is... no longer the case) anything can be made fun when you do it with a friend. Granted, I think she was actually referring to long division at the time, but hey, whatever works, right? And it's not as if reading fanfiction isn't fun already,

I found your journal late 2012, but have loved looking through your rec-tag and finding more fics to read. I’ve found some great ones in different fandoms that I’ve read during the holiday with joy; so thank you for all the recs and this post as well. I’m sure I’ll find something to my liking here as well. Hope you have a good year ahead. :)

I was doing this on New Year's night, and someone on Twitter had just put up ABBA's "Happy New Year," and I thought, what the hell, I'm game. You'll notice all these entries have an ABBA soundtrack :)

Did I ever tell you about the time I fronted an ABBA cover band in middle school? It may have to wait until someday when we have a bottle of the hard stuff between us, but yeah :)

I had one picture, but it kind of went the way of the dodo. My lead guitarist grew up to be a famous lead guitarist in my land, though, so there is that :)

Thanks for the all the recs! It's always been nice to have something to look forward to reading. Your latest list has kept me very busy the last few days, which is wonderful since I've been working on a night shift job with so much much free time.
